| Know all Men by these presents that I James Walsh, Planter now residing in Caplin Bay Newfoundland do Justly and truly owe unto David Clueny the sum of Sixty Two Pounds good and lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to the said David Clueny his Heirs Administrators and Assigns to which payment will truly be made. I bind myself Heirs Administrators and Assigns firmly by these presents sealed with my seal dated in the year of the Reign of our Soverign George the Third of Great Britain or in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred & Seventeen. The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound James Walsh his Heirs Administrators and Assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said David Clueny his Heirs Administrators and Assigns the following amount of Sixty Two Pounds in good & lawful money of Great Britain to be paid twentieth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Nineten, then this Obligation to be paid or else to remain in full force, effect and virtue. And as more effectual security for the beforementioned obligation I do make over and Assign to the said David Clueny his Heirs and Assigns all my Right title and interest of fishing premises, house and outhouse land and Cattle as per Inventory following to be subject to and liable in Default of the before mentioned obligation. |
