Calvert Bay A photo taken from the hill overlooking the Roman Catholic Church at Calvert, Newfoundland, The left side of the photo shows the North Side ending at the headland, Stone Island. On the right side of the photo is the South Side, with a faint outline of Goose Island at the mouth of the bay. The area to the immediate right of the church spire is known as Keough's Lane and Keough's Cove. Farther right, on the roadway leading from the church yard, is the area known as The Cross. The upper right side of the photo shows the road leading to Ferryland, with the houses of The Point on a rise overlooking the bay.
