This photo was taken from the Gut Hill on the road leading to the North Side of Calvert. Along the seaward width of The Beach are the fishing stages and premises belonging to various members of the Power family. At the south end of The Beach, (on the left) were the fishing premises and homes along Keough's Lane. To the left of the church can be seen the Boland homes in the area known as The Cross. |
