  Married: Evening Telegram - St. John's - Nov 9 1899: Married on Oct 11 at Sacred Heart Church, East Cambridge Mass. Mr. Martin Battcock of Brigus South, a relative of Rev. Fr. Battcock of that place, and Miss Veronica Kearsey of St. John?s. (Per email from Audrey Swain - 14 October 2015.) Although the St. John's newspaper says they married on the 11th of October, the marriage record in the US states that it was on the 8th of October.
