• Notes

Married: No marriage record was located, but the only place in Canada where Thomas was stationed was Halifax, Nova Scotia (1888 - 1891). In 1891 his wife, Catherine Grayson, was boarding in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Based on his military service record, Thomas had shipped out in March of that year for the West Indies. The service records indicate that he stayed overseas until he returned to England in 1894.
