  OLIVER, Peter James - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, Peter James Oliver, aged 68 years. Predeceased by his mother Mary and father Robert, also sister Joan, three brothers Ned, Jack and Leo. Left to mourn his loving wife of 46 years Mary (Reddigan), sons Paddy (Janet), Randy (Rita); daughters Yvonne (Jim), Patsy (Gerard), five grandchildren Victoria, Andrew and their mother Hope, Trish, Kayla, Christina. Also two brothers-in-law Kevin and Bernard Reddigan. Also leaving to mourn a large number of special nieces and nephews, special friends Gerald Hynes, Jim and Pearl Murphy, Gerald MacDonald and Vince O'Brien. Peter shared a special love and admiration for harness racing through which he met many lifelong friends and enjoyed the sport with them tremendously for 45 years. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. on Monday from 10-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday July 24, 2007 at St. Teresa's Parish. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully declined, donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
