Father	Thomas "Tom" Meaney,   b. Mar 1843, Stone Island, Caplin Bay, Newfoundland ,   d. 5 Apr 1928, Calvert, Newfoundland  (Age ~ 85 years)
Mother	Anastasia "Staish" Delaney,   b. Abt 1859, Conception Bay, Newfoundland ,   d. 26 Nov 1915, Caplin Bay, Newfoundland  (Age ~ 56 years)
Married	30 Oct 1893	Holy Trinity RC Parish, Ferryland, Newfoundland   [3]
In her marriage record for Holy Trinity Parish, Ferryland, Anastasia's surname is recorded as Whiteway, but in the baptism records, she was recorded as Delaney. Very little is known of her, but it is believed that she was originally from the Conception Bay area. It appears that she was in an earlier relationship with, but may not have been married to Thomas Whiteway. The baptismal records at St. John's for this couple are not clear as to their actual marital status. I have not found an actual marriage record for them to date.
