Notes	Vital Statistics - Vol 26B (Part 2) - 1813-1815 Anglican Cathederal of St. John the Baptist - 1796 - 1848 Baptisms. James VAVASOR James & Elizabeth b Jan __ 1815 bap Feb 15 1815 In most of the baptism records, James is listed as a sailor or a mariner. I did not find a record of his death, however, according to the St. John's newspapers, James had died by the time his daughter Elizabeth married in 1864. It also appears that James may have had another son that I could not locate in the baptism records. In the newpaper annoucement of Henry Joseph's marriage, he is noted as the "fourth son of Capt. Vavasour of St. John's". Based on this information, there is one missing baptism, since I located baptism records for only three sons. (Kevin Reddigan)
