It is not clear if this individual is not the same person as the Henry Clow listed in later directories and parish records at Harbour Grace. The fact that his name was Edmond Henry may caused some of the confusion with his nephew Henry. His listing as a printer could very well be possible since his brother-in-law, J.T. Burton, was in the newspaper business at St. John's in 1864. No other listing for that surname is found at St. John's until Marmaduke Clow moved there.
