  The brig 'Thomas' arrived at Quebec City, 17 July 1819, after a passage of 35 days out of Waterford, Ireland. John and William Glascott eventually boarded the Malsham for her 11th trip Quebec to Montreal on 22nd July 1819. No reference to their two sisters on this trip.

  This location is speculative since there does not appear to be a surviving marriage record for John and Susannah. The Church of England records at St.John's go back into the 1700s but unfortunately there are no Anglican records for Ferryland before the mid 1820s. There are also references that the local magistrates sometimes performed marriages in the absence of a clergymen.
