Family	Edmond Shea,   b. Abt 1792, Carrick of Suir, Co Tipperary, Ireland ,   d. 29 May 1860, St. John's, Newfoundland  (Age ~ 68 years)
  Married	22 Nov 1824	St. John's, Newfoundland   [2]
Married: Edmond Shea of Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tip. and Anastasia Witty of Torbay. Witnesses: Richard Allen and Ann Hickey. In this marriage record, the priest recorded the bride's surname as Witty. My view is that Shea is spelled correctly, although the 'tail' of the A has led some researchers to believe that there might be an N at the end of the surname.
