  Notes	James Walsh Sr. married Nelly (Ellen/Elenor) Evoy, the widow of Michael Evoy at Ferryland in 1799. They ran a pub and lived at Ferryland for a period of time before moving to Caplin Bay, sometime after 1805. James Jr. was in all likelihood born at Ferryland, however he may have been born at Caplin Bay. He is listed at Caplin Bay in Lovell's 1871 Directory, and it appears that he was still alive when his daughter Catherine Gregory died at Little Bay Mines in 1884. His death is not found in the Vital Statistics Deaths, which started about 1892.
