CAHILL, MURPHY, Charlotte - Age 77 years. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital, January 10, 2002. Predeceased by husband Thomas Cahill (1957) and Michael Murphy (1978) and precious son Don, May 1999. She is survived by her daughters: Catherine (Doug Bursey), Old Perlican, Anne Marie Lundrigan, Brenda (Glenn Tobin), Witness Bay, Philomena (Reg Ryan), Calvert, Jeanie (Gerard Swain), Calvert; sons: Thomas (Marie), Witless Bay, Pat (Mary), Mobile, Gerard, with whom she resided; two stepchildren: Michael Murphy and Mary (Richard Clarke), Petty Harbour; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters: Jessie (Ray Power), Clara (Jim Brophy), Lena (Tom Oates), Agnes (Pat Kenny); brothers: Cyril and Angus Murphy; sister-in-law Mary Murphy; brother-in-law George Cahill; Home Care workers Nancy and Brenda; and special friends Ella and Rose. Resting at Ryan`s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, Friday, January 11, 2002 from 2-10 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 12, 2002 from St. Patrick`s Church, Witless Bay. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay.
