Alfred John Swain

Alfred John Swain Sr. - (November 15,1932 - October 13, 2012) - Our beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to all. It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband and father, Alfred John Swain, Sr., age 79 years. He passed peacefully away surrounded by his family after a short courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Predeceased by his loving mother Evelyn and father John (Mr. Jack), brothers Aiden, Peter, John, Thomas, sisters Genevieve and best friend Pete Boland. Leaving to mourn with sad loss and loving memories are his loving wife and best friend Betty; sons Alfie (Michelle), Francis (Shelly) and Brian (Jennifer); daughters Sharon, Laura, Michelle (Chris); 11 grandchildren Daniel, Travis, Shawn, Blake, Chloe, Rylan, Kara, Austin, Brooke, Kaine & Adison; one Brother Reg; 4 sisters, Marie, Dorothy, Ella, Betty and Genevieve. As well a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special friends Dan Tobin and Dwayne Hawkins. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home Bay Bulls. Sunday October 14 from 7pm to 9pm for family. Monday, October 15 from 2pm-9pm, Tuesday, October 16 from 10am-1pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 16 at R.C.C. Immaculate Conception Church in Calvert at 2pm. Cremation to follow
