 Abt 1869 - 1943 (~ 74 years)
Generation: 1
| 1. | Elizabeth "Liz" Swain was born Abt 1869, Caplin Bay, Newfoundland; died 5 May 1943, St. John's, Newfoundland; was buried Abt 7 May 1943, Mount Carmel Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland. Other Events:
- Census: 1921, St. John's, Newfoundland
Notes:
Birth:
No baptism record could be found at Ferryland or Renews for Elizabeth. In the 1921 Newfoundland Census, her birth month and year was recorded as Jun 1877. However in the 1935 Newfoundland Census, her age was given as 66. That age indicates that she was born abt. 1869. Her Vital Statistics death record says she was 71 when she died in 1943 (b. abt. 1872). Given that no baptism record was found at Holy Trinity RC Parish, it appears 1869 may be her most credible year of birth.
