William Sheehan

Notes:

I suspect that Elizabeth Culleton's husband was William Sheehan, listed on the north side of Ferryland in the voter's list of 1840 & 1842. He appears to be a different person than the William from the Sheehy/Shean/Sheehan family of Caplin Bay. At Caplin Bay, there was a Patrick (probably the father since he was noted as "old - dead" in 1859), William and Edward, all residing there through the surviving voter's lists. I also found reference to a William Sheehan working several road contracts in the late 1830s, but, of course, there is no way to distinguish which William had these contracts.

William married Elizabeth Culleton 7 Dec 1834, Ferryland, Newfoundland. Elizabeth (daughter of Thomas Culleton and Mary Ronan) was born Aft 1800, Ferryland, Newfoundland; died Yes, date unknown. [Group Sheet]
