Family information states that Jane returned to Newfoundland "to die" sometime after Richard died in 1916 at Bristol, CT. The directories for that city show Jane was still living there in 1918, however, her name was not found there in the 1920 US Census. Likewise, her name was not enumerated in the Newfoundland 1921 Census. Family lore by Jane's grand-niece, the late Pauline (O')Brien Norris suggests she died at Calvert about 1923. However, to date, I have not been able to verify Jane's date of death and the location where she died.
Mary married Richard "Dick" Reddigan Abt 1867, Holy Trinity RC Parish, Ferryland, Newfoundland. Richard (son of Richard Reddigan and Catherine Evoy) was born 10 Aug 1833, Caplin Bay, Newfoundland; died 21 Apr 1916, Bristol, Hartford, Connecticut, United States; was buried 23 Apr 1916, St. Thomas' Cemetery, Bristol, Hartford, Connecticut, United States.
