Vital Statistics record says Agnes was buried at Ferryland but headstone is located in Aquaforte.
Died:
There was a Agnes Ryan who died at Aquaforte in 1914. Her headstone says she was 36 when she died. Unfortunately, her Vital Statistic record is incomplete and does not give her place of birth. Her 1904 marriage to Richard Ryan (of Aquaforte) recorded her age as 27. However, the priest did not record the hometowns of the bride and groom. The calculated birth year (based on the above events) indicate that this Agnes was born in 1877 or 1878. A check of the Holy Trinity Parish and the neighbouring Holy Apostles Parish records show the only Agnes Ryan baptised in the area, in the 1870s, was Agnes, the daughter of Patrick and Sarah Ryan. She was born at Ferryland in about Jun 1873. Further research required.
