 Abt 1870 - 1905 (~ 35 years)
Generation: 1
| 1. | Mary Coady was born Abt 1870, St. John's, Newfoundland; died 18 Sep 1905, St. John's, Newfoundland; was buried Abt 20 Sep 1905, St. John's, Newfoundland. Notes:
Birth:
The birth year calculated using death record age (28) is incorrect. A birth year about 1870 is more likely for someone who was married in 1891.
Died:
This death record was entered out of sequence in the original document. This error makes Mary's death record appear as if she was a child, 6 days old, who died of convulsions. However, on closer inspection, it shows Mary died of childbirth complications.
The family was living on Alexander St. at that time. Mary's age (28) is obviously incorrect since she was married in 1891. Based on this recorded age, Mary would have been only about 13 years old.
Mary married James Henry Saunders 29 Oct 1891, St. John's RC (Basilica) Parish, St. John's, Newfoundland. James (son of Peter Joseph Saunders and Anastasia Barry) was born 31 Jul 1865, St. John's, Newfoundland; died 1950, St. John's, Newfoundland; was buried 1950, St. John's, Newfoundland. [Group Sheet]
