We have no earlier information for this child but the 1910 US Census indicated she was born about 1899. However, later census information states she was born in Massachusetts, United States in 1903.

In the 1930 US Census, Lillian appears to be living with her adoptive parents. However, in the 1929 Directory for the City of Bristol, Lillian M. Foley, under a listing "Nurses - Graduate and Practical" was recorded as living at 74 Forestville Ave. Again, in 1930, under this same category, she was listed as living at 25 Canal St. in the Plainville City Directory.
