Bridget Rossiter, 26, sailed from the port of St. John's on May 19th, 1917. Nearest relative in Newfoundland was Mr. J. Rossiter, Caplin Bay. It appears that she was going to Boston,MA to visit her aunt identified as Mrs. L Noseworthy , 187 7th Street, South Boston, MA. Bridget was described as 5' 4", fair complexion, with brown hair and blue eyes. It is rather curious that she used her maiden name and indicated she was single, not widowed.
