    Notes:

Surrogate Court Records - Nov. 20, 1817 - John Evoy - Planter of Ferryland paid Shannon - Levingston money owed by James Walsh. Witness: Robert Wakeham.

    Died:
This date of death comes from a petition submitted by Patrick Evoy, in 1831, to the Supreme Court of Newfoundland requesting Letters of Administration to the estate of his late brother, John Evoy. From this document we learn that John, who was not married, had died in Jun 1825, without leaving a will. We also learn that at least three of their sisters had survived to adulthood and were now married.
